一、河南理工大学简介

河南理工大学位于太极拳发源地、中国优秀旅游城市——河南省焦作市，距离省会郑州市一小时车程。学校成立于1909年，是中国第一所矿业高等学府和河南省建立最早的高等学校，现为河南省人民政府与应急管理部共建高校、省属重点大学。

学校具有博士、硕士、学士三级学位授予权，工科优势突出，安全应急、地矿测绘、先进制造与新材料特色鲜明。有8个博士学位授权点、51个硕士点、73个本科专业，涵盖工、理、管、经、法、文、教、艺、医、交叉等十大学科门类，现有全日制在校本科生近42000人，研究生近7000人。

I. Introduction of Henan Polytechnic University

Henan Polytechnic University (HPU) is located in Jiaozuo, Henan Province—the birthplace of Taijiquan, only one hour’s drive from the provincial capital—Zhengzhou. Founded in 1909, HPU is China's first institution of higher education in mining and the earliest established university in Henan Province. It is now a key provincial university under the joint construction of Henan Provincial People's Government and the Ministry of Emergency Management.

HPU offers programs of Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral Degrees, with prominent advantage in engineering, particularly in safety and emergency management, geology and mining surveying, advanced manufacturing, and new materials. The university has 8 Doctoral degree programs, 51 Master's degree programs, and 73 undergraduate majors, covering ten major disciplines: engineering, science, management, economics, law, liberal arts, education, arts, medicine and interdiscipline. Currently, it has nearly 42,000 full-time undergraduate students and nearly 7,000 postgraduate students.

Adhering to an "open education" strategy, HPU has established partnerships with 120 universities and research institutions in 38 countries and regions, and has international students from nearly 30 countries.
